OVPC DAY RETREAT – The Movement
A well deserved day away this summer!
This summer we are celebrating the light at the end of the tunnel by doing a day retreat at OVPC. We haven’t been able to meet in-person or get away much this year, so The Movement wants to plan an amazing day of lively community.
This day retreat is for you! Where you can invite your friends and hop in a car with your people for a safe day of fun and time to meet with God outside the usual routine.
There will be a plentiful amount of activities available and two (lunch and dinner) whole delicious meals from the dinning hall.
Baseball, Basketball, Sand volleyball, Soccer, Hiking trails, Swimming/Beach time, Canoe/kayak rentals, and timeless fun with your people.
And an unplugged service in OVPC’s tabernacle.

Meet in Parking Lot @ Bethel at 9:00 A M. You are responsible for your own safe transportation to the camp. But in order to make sure everyone has a ride, we will carpool. Please mark on your registration form if you are looking for a ride or if you are willing to provide a ride and how many spaces you have available according to the permission of your license. Some gas money will be provided.
We understand that during this world-wide pandemic things have been unsure. By August we should be in the Step 3 of Ontario’s reopening plan. Where large indoor/outdoor religious services can be held, indoor/outdoor sport activities, etc. For carpooling, we only need to be in Step 2 (5 people small indoor gatherings). In addition, the daily COVID infections rates have significantly slowed as most of us are getting vaccinated. As long as each of us do our part, wear masks when necessary, and work together to carpool. This event can be done safely and up to COIVD procedures.
