Sheril is a graduate of Humber College and Algonquin College where she completed her studies in Child and Youth Care Worker, Early Childhood Education and Event Management. Although, Sheril’s early path lead her to working with Children, Youth and their families and then a complete switch to Event planning all the whilst still involved in music. Sheril now finds herself right in God’s perfect will for her life and she is fully surrendered to seeing where God takes her from here. After many years of seeking God’s purpose for her life and discovering that no matter what, giving God the glory through worship is her true purpose, She has now surrendered to that calling. Sheril has been leading worship since her teen years in the Pentecostal church of God Assembly. She discovered that worship is not just what she does but who she is and she continues to seek to cultivate an atmosphere of Freedom and full surrender through worship. Sheril began attending Bethel Ottawa September 2018 where she now serves as the Worship Director. Sheril is excited to be serving here at Bethel in her second year after serving her first year as the interim Creative Arts and Worship Director. Sheril is in full anticipation of what God is doing and is going to continue to do in and through the Creative department and his church as a whole. And looks forward to the impact Bethel will be and continue to be in the Ottawa area, Canada, and the World. Praise is not what we do, but it is who we are. Let’s continue to praise him together.

When Pastor Ezra was 7 years old her parents felt called to move around the province explaining it as a God-tour. For over 10 years her family moved where God called them to be. Later, when she was in grade 10, she heard the call of God to ‘pastor young people.’ God later confirmed that call through her youth pastor. She then began her own God-tour where she went where God called. She felt called to attend Master’s College and Seminary to prepare for the call God had placed on her life. She graduated MCS in 2020 with a Bachelor of Theology specializing in Youth/Young Adult ministry. She has a passion for loving God and people. Through the journey God has her on she's excited to have landed with Bethel’s Young Adults, The Movement! God has a powerful plan to use The Movement for radical things and she's believing for BIG things for every young adult with whom she comes in contact. She loves all things creative such as writing, poetry, painting and journaling. If you want to see her get excited talk about coffee or the gym with her! She loves getting to know people, so just say hi!
